学生	老师，您好！请问您在考理论部分的时候，那些类似于“牛郎”、“织女”、“正月”之类的CSIs, 需要我们都记住英文译法吗？还是你只会考理论，不考词汇？
老师	你们既要知道相关的理论概念，也要知道如何用英文表达，并且还要知道如何用理论概括你的翻译方法。 譬如，我如果给你“正月”一词，你得知道这是一个CSI，因为它是大汉文化所独有的概念，而不是一个跨文化通用的概念。除此之外，你还得知道它是a name而不是a description。如果要你翻译，你能把它翻译成 the First Month on the Chinese Calendar, 或the First Chinese Lunar Month；你也得知道，这样翻译所得到的TT是一个description, 而不是一个name， 就像'正月'是一个 name，而'夏历第一个月'是一个description一样。至于翻译方法，你也得知道，你的这个翻译法是domestication，而不是foreignization，因为，你是完全按照英文的表达方式描述这个月份，没有直接音译或用中文的形象或概念来表达。
学生	老师，那么卷面上会以什么的形式来考我关于这个问题的基础知识呢？
